We met up with old friends and cherished the opportunity to make new ones!

The real treat? We got to meet and have dinner with Katie Lee Biegel. You know her from Food Network's The Kitchen, and she is just as warm and lovely in person as you'd hope. She is a co-founder and partner of Kind of Wild Wines, and getting to learn from her about what actually goes into a bottle of wine was fascinating.

A little about Kind of Wild Wines

Here is what I loved learning. Kind of Wild was co-founded by Katie Lee Biegel alongside brothers Jordan and Adam Sager, and it's the first globally crafted, certified organic and certified vegan direct-to-consumer wine brand in the country. The wines are zero sugar, with no harmful additives or preservatives, and they actually list every single ingredient plus the nutrition facts right on the back label. Mostly just organic grapes, yeast, and a touch of naturally occurring SO2. They source from family growers all over the world and donate 1% of revenue back to the planet through regenerative farming and healthier soil. As a gardener, that soil health piece spoke straight to my heart. And yes, they ship to Georgia.
