For today’s container garden we are keeping it green. Why? Happy St. Patrick’s Day, that’s why! Well, we are adding a few hints of purple, but I can never resist a bold pop of color. Last spring I was able to work with Caitlin Moran of GlitterGuide. We had a blast creating this centerpiece together and I think you will too.
1. Purple Passion
2. Irish Moss (Center)
3. Creeping Fig or Ficus (Top Left)
4. Moon Valley (Top/Bottom)
Plant either the ficus or the creeping fig in the center of your container.
Don’t be afraid to handle the plants. They are tougher than they look.
Add some purple passion!
How awesome is this warm weather? I am getting so anxious to plant. My husband keeps reminding me, Not until after April 15th! I never claimed to be patient. This gal is just ready to get her hands covered in dirt.
By the way, if you see me out and about today think twice before pinching because I keep my green thumb with me everywhere I go.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!
