Valentine’s Day may be a thing of the past but you still have some time to treat yourself with this DIY scrub for your hands.
As a gardener, there is nothing I love more than getting my hands covered in soil. However, as a woman, I also love a good, clean scrub. I firmly believe that if you spend all day taking care of your garden and making your home look good, it is important to also take care of yourself and to make sure that you look and feel good too.
This is one of my absolute favorite DIY beauty products. It is so easy to make and the ingredients are pretty much pantry staples in my house–honey, lemon, and salt.
Before we get to the good stuff, go ahead and wash your hands.
I like to use Sea Salt Neroli Hand Soap by Caldrea. I mix a little of the soap with water and keep it next to my sink in a soap dish I got from Terrain.
After washing up, it is time to scrub!
Combine your ingredients and then apply it directly to your hands.
Don’t be shy! Use as much as you want. Just make sure to scrub both the front and the back of your hands.
Your hands will feel instantly softer after rinsing. Next, it is time to moisturize.
Some of my favorite lotions include Beauty Butter 2 by The Refill Shoppe, Body Lotion by Peter Thomas Roth, and 24-‘heaven’ by bliss.
Thanks for hanging around and making a mess with me today. I look forward to the many more messes to come!
You may also really love this tea for your hair. It is amazing!
